Total Recorder Professional Edition records PC audio from almost any source, including streamed audio from programs like Windows Media Player. It can also record conventional audio from CD's, the microphone and other input lines on a sound card.

The Professional Edition also includes features like the Sound Image facility, the Auto Split feature and the ability to initiate a web connection to record a scheduled web broadcast. No-cost evaluation copies of Total Recorder are available for download by clicking on the following links. The evaluation copies are fully functional versions of the program, with the exception that an audible noise will be inserted about every 60 seconds throughout the recording. For unlimited recording without the insertion of an audible noise, you must purchase a Total Recorder license.

Upgrade to Total Recorder Professional Edition

For a limited time, licensed users of Total Recorder Standard Edition may upgrade to the Professional Edition, for an upgrade fee of $18.00 US. Registered users of the Standard Edition should use this link, to purchase the Professional Edition, at the upgrade price..

Upgrade users should note that installation of the Professional Edition will remove the Standard Edition from the PC. If you evaluate the Professional Edition and decide not to proceed with a purchase, then you must re-install the Standard Edition, including the specification of your Standard Edition registration key. Standard Edition registration keys are not compatible with the Professional Edition.

Total Recorder Professional Edition Version 6.1 is available free of charge, to purchasers of previous versions of the Professional Edition. Existing customers may download and install the new version, however you will need a V6.0 registration key (the key must begin with TRP6). Registration keys not beginning with TRP6 will not work with V6.1 Professional Edition.

Users may obtain a V6.0 registration key by using the self-service registration key management system. This system uses the email address under which the product was originally purchased. If this email address is no longer valid, then users requiring a new key should email High Criteria at support@highcriteria.com. Users should specify their registration name and E-mail address from the time of registering and their new E-mail address.
