Total Recorder Developer Edition

Total Recorder Developer Edition brings all of the recording features and controls of Total Recorder Professional Edition, to programmers and their applications. Total Recorder DE includes OLE Automation support that provides a programming interface to Total Recorder functions. It features a dual interface and is a convenient way for any programming or scripting language that supports OLE Automation, to invoke Total Recorder functionality to record streaming audio or sound input on any of your sound card's input jacks.

Evaluation copies of Total Recorder Developer Edition are available for download with the following links. The evaluation copies are fully functional versions of the program, with the exception that an audible noise will be inserted about every 60 seconds throughout the recording. For unlimited recording without the insertion of an audible noise, you must purchase a Total Recorder license.

Please note, the Total Recorder Developer Edition License Agreement does not allow for the re-selling or re-distribution of the Total Recorder Developer Edition software in any way, shape or form. All versions of Total Recorder work on Windows 98SE/ME/2000 and XP.

Total Recorder Developer Version 6.1 is available free of charge, to purchasers of previous versions of the Developer Edition. Existing customers may download and install the new version, however you will need a V6.0 registration key (the key must begin with TRD6). Registration keys not beginning with TRD6 will not work with V6.1 Developer Edition.

Users may obtain a V6.0 registration key by using the self-service registration key management system. This system uses the email address under which the product was originally purchased. If this email address is no longer valid, then users requiring a new key should email High Criteria at support@highcriteria.com. Users should specify their registration name and E-mail address from the time of registering and their new E-mail address.

Upgrade to Total Recorder Developer Edition from the Professional Edition

For a limited time, registered users of Total Recorder Professional Edition may upgrade to the Developer Edition, for an upgrade fee of $64.00 US. Registered users of the Professional Edition should use this link, to purchase the Developer Edition, at the upgrade price.

Upgrade users should note that installation of the Developer Edition will remove the Professional Edition from the PC. If you evaluate the Developer Edition and decide not to proceed with a purchase, then you must re-install the Professional Edition, including the specification of your Professional Edition registration key. Professional Edition registration keys are not compatible with the Developer Edition.
