Version 4.x Upgrade Information

All registered users of Total Recorder Standard Edition Versions 1.0, 2.x or 3.x, are entitled to a no-cost upgrade to the latest version of Total Recorder Standard Edition.

If you are a registered user of Total Recorder Standard Edition and still use version 2.2 or earlier, then, in order to use Version 4.x, you will need a new registration key. We have already mailed new registration keys to all the users in our database. However you might not have received it for one of the following reasons:

  1. Your E-mail address has changed since your registered.
  2. You specified during registration that you do not want any notification.
  3. You registered by check and did not provide your E-mail address.

In any case, you may obtain a new key by using the self-service registration key management system.

If a user has a version 1.x or 2.x copy of Total Recorder, then they must obtain a new registration key by using the self-service registration key management system. This system uses the email address under which the product was originally purchased. If this email address is no longer valid, then users requiring a new key should email High Criteria at support@highcriteria.com. Users should specify their registration name and E-mail address from the time of registering and their new E-mail address.

Note that Total Recorder Standard Edition Version 3.x registration keys are valid for Standard Edition V4.x and you do not need to re-enter your registration key if you are upgrading from a V3.x  version of the product.
